Editorial Policy

By the Income.ph Editorial Team · Last updated: July 21, 2026

This policy explains how content on Income.ph is produced and maintained.

Accuracy and sourcing

We base factual claims — rates, program rules, fees, taxes — on official primary sources: the Pag-IBIG Fund, BSP, SEC, BIR, PDIC, PSE, and the providers themselves. Where figures change frequently (bank interest rates, dividend declarations), we state the historical range, tell readers to verify the current figure with the official source, and avoid presenting snapshots as permanent.

Dates and updates

Every article displays a "last updated" date. We review high-impact pages (MP2 rates, bank comparisons, tax rules) when official announcements are made, and the rest of the library on a rolling basis. Outdated material is corrected or clearly marked.

Independence

Our editorial opinions are not for sale. We do not accept payment to recommend financial products, and no company can pay to change a review's conclusion. If we ever use affiliate links, they will be disclosed on the page, and they will never determine what we recommend.

Risk disclosure

We commit to stating the risks and downsides of every product or strategy we cover with the same prominence as the benefits. Content that promises guaranteed returns will never appear on this site.

Corrections

Errors are corrected as quickly as possible once verified. To report one, email support@income.ph with the article URL and the issue — corrections are prioritized over all other editorial work.

Not financial advice

All content is general information for educational purposes, not personalized advice. See the full disclaimer.
